2018/19 Wolves Project Raises Over £35,000

We are delighted to announce that over £35,000 has been raised for good causes through four Big Art Auctions of Louise’s 2018/19 original programme cover art, a special Raul Jimenez-themed raffle & the auction of a Billy Wright original. Read the full story here.

About the artist: Louise Cobbold dedicated herself to capturing the emotion and passion that sits at the very heart of the beautiful game. Louise and husband Chris, a lifelong Wolves fan, gave away 12 original works of art, portraits of Wolverhampton Wanderers players, signed by Louise and the relevant player. All 12 works of art, mounted, framed and authenticated were auctioned from 19 April to 29 April 2018 via the Cure Leukaemia eBay page, with all proceeds going to support the life saving work of this fantastic charity. For Louise and Chris, making art affordable and accessible for all is really important. They recognise that auction and commission prices are out of reach for many so have made a selection of Limited Edition Prints available, each hand numbered and embossed with the Sports Personalities seal of quality. 10% of profit on print sales is donated to Cure Leukaemia.
